Yadson Releases Addictive “Summer” Single

Young artist Yadson announces the release of his pop-rap single Summer. The 20-year-old musician from Luxembourg, brings out an addictive tune convincing with tropical pop beats. As the song title states it, the impulsive track is all about summer, giving you the feeling of enjoying long days under the Californian sun. Filling a genre gap in the Luxembourg music scene, the single has the potential of becoming a pulsing radio hit.

Yadson’s casual and relaxed nature let one sympathize with him right away. The feel-good song is a smash that leads you onto the dancefloor with its contagious melodic hooks. The chilling moments hit together with the feisty drop of the single, produced by Jimmy Braun, known as frontman of the indie band Austinn. Yadson convinces with his positive energy that he brings to the world. The lyrics: „I just want no obligations, I just need vacation.“ let you free your mind from the headaches of everyday life. But Yadson brings up much more. The young talent is not just a good musician but an expressive storyteller, self-reflecting and writing since a young age, inspired by emotional rides with an uncommon background as he used to be a street kid in Chad. “Music is where I get to express what’s on my mind and soul and in the end, share it through my songs.” says Yadson. Inspired by Kanye West, Jay-Z, XXXTentacion and alike, his raps and legit lyrics come straight from the heart. Yadson wants to catch by surprise and connect through music: “Music is like my diary. I write every day. I want to connect with people through my songs and build a real loyal fam(ily). I want to fill concert rooms and even when it’s only at 80 where I break through, I will not stop working on it. Music is my life.” The music video, produced by Summer Sky Agency and created by blogger Amii Watson, a young artist development company which supports him on his journey, lets one have a blast.

Yadson definitely brings a real freshness to the Luxembourg music scene and beyond. His American accent and diverse looks give him an international character. Safe to say, the rising musician is a source of inspiration and open spirit, ready to conquer the hearts with broad appeal.

GEZZA releases brand new single “Shoes Off”!

Young artist Gezza releases her new single ‘Shoes Off’ on the weekend of Luxembourg National Day. “My new song tops the national anthem (laughs), I was lucky enough to have Navajo as producer by my side who made it happen.” says the 18-year-old female singer. Indeed, Luxembourg brings out a feisty earworm that has the potential of going viral this summer.

The track, written and produced by Navajo, captivates with pumping lead synths and impulsive pop beats. ‘Shoes Off’ embeds catchy melodies that you’ll like to dance to all night long. The lyrics bring up sensual summer feelings and at the same time a sense of being trapped in such positive moments. “Sometimes love feels like a game that you are caught up in. On the other side, you got that real good feeling you just want to have over and over again and savour in all intimacy. But you realise that it might be finite and you somehow need to let go.” adds Gezza. The aesthetic video clip showcases the song’s upbeat moods. The music video, directed by filmmaker Filipe Silva in collaboration with Julie Didier as creative director, brings out urban vibes and clubby scenes filmed under neon lights at the cellar of de Gudde Wëllen.

Gezza and Navajo’s first single ‘Fall in Love’, released end of last year, surpassed 120’000 plays on Spotify, hit 25’000 YouTube plays and successfully made it to Luxembourg’s radio charts. Gezza counts on the support of Summer Sky Agency, a young artist development company. The new release accentuates her powerful voice and her distinctive style makes her one to closely track on your music radar.

Krick drops debut single “Fake Cake”

Former ‘The Voice of Germany’ contestant Christine Heitz starts her solo carrier with the release of her debut single ‘Fake Cake’. The 21-year-old Luxembourgish singer calls herself Krick and captivates with fresh, impulsive and colourful pop beats. Already in the sing offs of the talent show The Voice of Germany, she unveiled her potential end of last year and should definitely be on your playlist this summer.

Krick’s unique voice timbre paired up with her dynamic and unfettered attitude gives the song the necessary power to state a clear message, reflecting on experiences she made with pseudo-friends: „I was disappointed by some close friends in the past, that really got to me. The song is kind of an in-your-face for all the pretenders and gives courage to not let yourself down by such experiences.“ The song has been written and produced by Jimmy Braun, known as frontman of the indie band Austinn. The catchy chorus and electric elements give a powerful backdrop to the sensitive lyrics. The music video in American 50s-style puts up a perfect facade. Co-produced by VCA (Video Clip Awards) „Best Upcoming Young Director“ Cedric Letsch and blogger Amii Watson, it depicts illusionary friendship, filmed in the Memphis Coffee in Beggen and who did notice, staring prominent kararate junior world champion Kimberly Nelting.

The lively song combined with Krick’s upbeat nature and professionalism makes her definitely one to watch. She has been supported on her journey by the Summer Sky Agency, a young artist development company, which allows artists to build their way into the music industry. Krick is excited about what’s next to come: “I am more than ready to give it all. In my dreams, I picture myself going on tour and breaking through.“ The young artist clearly does not lack stage experience and has the necessary vibe to thrive!
